DescriptionMarbled mosaic pattern formed from polygonal sections of a single cane in a purple ground with numerous opaque white rods.
DESCRIPTION Three joining fragments of rim, side, and bottom of broad, shallow bowl. Short, outsplayed rim with rounded edge; almost vertical side, curving abruptly inward toward the bottom; vestiges of flat bottom.
TECHNIQUE Assembled from sections of cane and cast; rotary-polished on both surfaces.
