DescriptionThis jar (Jar Class IA1a) is made of transparent pale olive glass (near 10 Y 6/2, but with more yellow). The vessel was free-blown and tooled, with medium-thin walls and a few pinprick bubbles. It has a pontil mark approximately 0.7 cm wide, with dark discoloration in the center. The rim is widely flaring and partially folded outward, upward, and inward. The neck is deeply concave and transitions into a strongly sloping shoulder. The bulbous body reaches its widest diameter at the shoulder. The base is flat with a central depression.
