DescriptionThis jar (Jar Class IA10a) has a deeply concave neck with a smooth transition into a sloping shoulder and a bulbous body that reaches its maximum diameter at the midpoint. Its flattened base features a central depression, and the rim is rounded in flame, encircled by a single applied coil. The vessel is made from medium-thin glass with visible blowing spirals. Due to weathering, the original color of the transparent glass and coil is no longer discernible, and the fabric cannot be determined. The pontil mark is also obscured.
