DescriptionThis glass bottle from the 2nd century CE has a straight-sided body and a single handle. It was made by shaping the body in a mold and finishing the top by hand. The bottle has a wide rim, a narrow neck, and a gently sloping shoulder. Its surface is decorated with six bands of fine cut lines, arranged in groups around the body. The handle was added separately and pressed into place near the top.
