DescriptionTransparent natural green. Exact color cannot be determined because of weathering. Traces of what may be pontil mark ca. 1.8 cm. Excess glass at tip of handle folded backward on top of handle. Wheel-cut. Thin glass. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. Flaring rim, rounded and slightly thickened in flame. Double cutout collar projecting externally and internally accentuates junction with walls. Cylindrical walls with slight downward taper. Concave base with thickened center and hollow pushed-in tubular base ring. Flat wide ring handle on body from midpoint of body to halfway between handle attachment and collar. Below handle, six bands of wheel-cut incisions. CLASSIFICATION: Isings 1957, Form 37b.
