DescriptionThis Roman glass bowl features straight sides that taper gently toward the base. A broad handle extends horizontally from the rim and flattens where it was pinched during formation. The rim curves outward, and the small foot at the bottom was shaped with tools. The bowl was made by blowing molten glass and forming details by hand.
