DescriptionThis small, round-bodied jar dates to the fourth century CE. It was made by blowing molten glass and shaping it with tools. The neck is short and curves inward deeply before flaring out into a wide collar-like rim. The body is spherical, and the base is gently concave. The jar's original color is now obscured due to weathering over time.
