DescriptionMedium thin glass. Blowing spirals. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering.
Transparent manganese colored streaky light brownish gray (5 YR 6/1). Translucent pale green handles (10 G 6/2).
Free-blown. Pontil scar ca. 0.8 cm in diameter, over reamer mark. Excess glass at tip of one handle clipped off and at tip of other folded upward to the side and back against top of handle.
Rim rounded in flame, with narrow projecting roll below. Funnel neck with curved transition to shoulder. Sloping shoulder. Inverted conical body. Concave base with slight kick. Two straight coil handles applied to shoulder, touched down to side of projecting roll, and attached to edge of rim.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class III C 7 a.
