DescriptionThis 4th-century glass bottle has a short, straight-sided body and a single ribbed handle. It was made by shaping the body in a mold and forming the neck and rim by hand. The collar rim flares out at the top, and the body narrows slightly toward the base. The handle, attached at the shoulder and neck, has ten raised ribs. There is no mark from the glassblowing rod.
