DescriptionCandlestick unguentarium with conical body (Class XD"2a). Made of medium thick, transparent to translucent natural green glass; exact color cannot be determined because of weathering. Free-blown and tooled; the pontil mark is obscured due to weathering. The rim is outsplayed horizontally and rounded and thickened in the flame. The tall cylindrical neck shows a toolmark and a slight constriction at its base. The squat conical body forms about one-third of the vessel’s total height. The flat bottom has a central depression.
