DescriptionThis vessel is formed of thin glass, transparent natural green in color, though the exact hue cannot be determined because of weathering. The fabric is not further specified for the same reason. It is free-blown and tooled, with a circular scar on the base measuring approximately 2.2 cm in diameter. The lip is outsplayed at an angle. The tall neck tapers gently, shows tool marks, and has a slight constriction at its base. The flat conical body makes up less than one-fifth of the total height, and the base is concave. This bottle belongs to the Candlestick Unguentarium type, classified as Class VIIIA"2e.
