DescriptionThis squat candlestick unguentarium is made of medium thin glass that appears transparent to translucent natural green, though the fabric cannot be fully determined because of weathering. It is free-blown and tooled, with a circular pontil scar on the bottom. The rim is outsplayed horizontally and rounded and thickened in the flame. A tall cylindrical neck shows a toolmark and a slight constriction at its base. The squat conical body makes up about one-half of the total height and rests on a flat bottom with a central depression.
