DescriptionThis bulbous jar (Classification: AJ10) is made of medium thin, free-blown and tooled glass. It is translucent to transparent with a manganese-colored very dark red hue (5 R 2/6), which appears nearly black. The vessel shows visible blowing spirals.
It has a collar rim that was rounded in the flame and finished with a cut-out below. The deeply concave neck transitions to a horizontal shoulder. The bulbous body has its greatest diameter at the midpoint. The base bears a pontil mark measuring approximately 1.1 cm.
Ten irregularly spaced, shallow circular indentations of varying size are present on the body surface.
