DescriptionTranslucent to transparent dark brownish-yellow (not in rock color chart). Similarly colored thread.
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.1 cm. Tooled. Added thread.
Rim folded outward, upward, inward, and downward. Deeply concave neck with curved transition to shoulder. Nearly horizontal shoulder. Bulbous body with greatest diameter at midpoint. Concave base. Medium thick glass. Small bubbles. Blowing spirals.
On body, seven oval indentations, slanting from top right to lower left. Over indentations, three and one-half revolutions of thin thread from left to right.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class IA1a.
