DescriptionThis transparent dusky yellow-green beaker (5 GY 5/2) was formed using free-blown and tooled techniques, with a pontil mark approximately 1.1 cm in diameter. The medium-thin glass shows concentrations of bubbles, ranging from pinprick to long diagonals aligned with the blowing spirals. The vessel has a flaring, rounded rim thickened in the flame, and concave sides that broaden toward a sharply carinated shoulder just above the base. The base is concave with a narrow, curved, hollow tubular ring.
