DescriptionTranslucent to transparent manganese colored very dark red (near 5 R 2/6).
Medium thin glass. Small bubbles.
Free-blown. No pontil mark. Cut.
Rim ground. Straight walls with slight downward taper to center of vessel which is accentuated by a wide open cut-out collar below which the walls taper sharply to base. Narrow pushed-in hollow tubular base ring. Concave base, probably domed.
Three horizontal wheel-cut incisions on upper part of walls.
