DescriptionThis small jar, made in the 1st or 2nd century CE, was shaped by blowing and tooling techniques. It has a rounded rim, a short concave neck, and a bulbous body that widens just above the middle. Two handles, made from opaque white glass, were added from the middle of the body to the shoulder. A white coil decorates the base. The absence of a pontil mark and visible air bubbles near the rim show aspects of its production.
