DescriptionThis vessel is classified as a lenticular jar on a base ring. It is made of transparent natural green glass, though the exact color cannot be determined because of weathering. The jar was free-blown and tooled, with no pontil mark visible. The rim is flaring and lightly ground. The lenticular body reaches its greatest diameter below the middle. The base is pushed-in and domed, with a narrow tubular base ring. On either side of the body, there is one large circular indentation.
