Angela Babby

Lakota, born 1968
BiographyAngela Babby is an enrolled citizen of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe. Her work titled “Why I Am a Pagan,” was awarded Best of Show at the Native Pop: People of the Plains Marketplace in Billings, Montana in 2021. Three of her works are included in the exhibition titled “Clearly Indigenous: Native Visions Reimagined in Glass", curated by Letitia Chambers and currently touring the United States. Babby’s work has been featured in Native People’s Magazine, First American Art Magazine, Glass Art Magazine and others.
