DescriptionFont blown and finished by tooling. Joined by a double wafer to the base. Base pressed, probably by a bench press, in a one-piece female mold, plain except for the lobed form, by a tapered ribbed male plunger with a short cylindrical upper end and flat shoulder and a slight U-shaped projection in the lobed corner that formed and patterned the interior and formed the undersurface of the perimeter of the base. Rough pontil mark on ribs about 2.0 cm (25/32 in.) from base. Pewter collar machined and threaded.
