DescriptionFont with short stem pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Bigler pattern by a plain male plunger; the plain cylindrical top reheated and tooled to form the domed top (the three moldmarks are still evident). Joined by a wafer to a double knop above an octagonal standard on a square plinth. Standard and plinth pressed upside down in a female mold of two vertical sections opening at the centers of two opposite sides of the base, in conjunction with a one-piece female mold that formed the square plinth with small chamfered corners, by a plain male plunger of tapered cylindrical and square form. Rough pontil mark around edge of opening to standard. Pewter collar machined and threaded to accept burner.
