DescriptionThis shallow hemispherical bowl is made of colorless glass with a greenish-yellow tinge. It has an upright, thick rim with an almost pointed edge, a smoothly curving convex side, and a convex bottom. On the interior, two pronounced horizontal grooves are cut in a band below the rim. On the exterior, three narrow horizontal grooves encircle the center of the bottom. The bowl was sagged and then finished with rotary-polishing on the interior, top, and outside of the rim, fire-polished on the rest of the exterior, and cut on both surfaces.
Colorless with greenish-yellow tinge.
DESCRIPTION Shallow hemispherical bowl. Upright, thick rim with almost pointed edge; convex curving side; convex bottom. On the interior, two pronounced horizontal grooves cut in a band below the rim. On the exterior, three narrow horizontal grooves cut in a band around the center of the bottom.
