DescriptionThis hemispherical bowl is made of golden-brown glass. It has a vertical rim with a slightly rounded edge, a smoothly curving convex side, and a convex bottom. Two narrow horizontal grooves are cut in a band inside the bowl below the rim. The surface was finished by sagging, rotary polishing on the interior and the top and outside of the rim, and fire-polishing on the rest of the exterior. The interior grooves were cut after forming.
