DescriptionGlobular font and baluster stem blown and finished by tooling, then joined by a triple-bladed knop. Joined by a triple-bladed knop to a tapered eight-ribbed columnar standard and base. Standard and base pressed upside down in a one-piece female mold by a plain male plunger with a slightly tapered lower part and a boldly ribbed and tapered upper part with a short vertical shoulder. No pontil mark. Perimeter of undersurface of base ground and polished. Pewter collar machined and threaded, with double-wick pewter-and-tin burner for whale oil.
