DescriptionFont blown and finished by tooling. Joined by a multiribbed knop to the standard and base. Base pressed in a plain one-piece female mold by a male plunger bearing the pattern, the circular tapered lower part ribbed, the upper part in the form of a quatrefoil with indentations in each foil to produce circular pendentives on the underside of each foil and to form the plain underside of the foot. Rough pontil mark on inner edge of quatrefoil. Pewter collar machined and threaded, with a double-wick pewter-and-tin burner for whale oil.
