DescriptionIllustrated on the surface of the glass are small images showing various moments in the history of glass, examples include: The Phoenician discovery; Blowpipe invention; Birthplace american industry, Jamestown - 1608; Mike Owens of Libbey develops first automatic machine - 1901. Each scene is illustrated in a deep yellow/gold with a black background and described below the image with white text. The main body of the glass is frosted.The text at the top of the glass reads in gold lettering "The Miracle of Glass 1918 Libbey 1957"
