DescriptionThis small square fragment of mosaic glass features a yellow daisy with black-outlined petals and a blue center, set against a dark blue ground. The image was created using the fused mosaic technique, in which patterned glass canes are sliced, arranged, and fused to form detailed decorative motifs. Although complete, the top surface is chipped; the other surfaces are smoothed, with one side polished.
