DescriptionTransparent blue glass over an opaque blue glass matrix.
Two-thirds of original round medallion size. Extant piece shows molded head of Medusa, with bulging eyes, broad face and wavy long leonine tresses. Mouth broken away. Ringlets on temples. Done in dark blue glass on black glass.
