DescriptionHead deeply cut in opaque cobalt blue glass. Fragment of large composition. Flat opaque blue plaque fragment with relief theater mask of same type as 1923.1514 and 1923.1674. Design shows large drilled eyes, furrowed brow, hawk nose, open hollowed frowning mouth and cleft chin. Fillet covered hairline, full leonine hair partially covered by twisted wreath of grape clusters and leaves. Sausage curls cascade around neck area.
