Label TextThis fragment depicting Princess Meritaten, daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti, was excavated in 1922 by the Egypt Exploration Society at Maru-Aten, a palace complex within the city of Akhetaten (modern Amarna). It came from a garden kiosk on an artificial island in a lake. One of five pieces (1925.657A–E) assigned to the Toledo Museum of Art.Published References
