DescriptionFont blown and finished by tooling. Joined by a large, boldly ribbed knop to the short stem of the base. Base pressed, probably upside down, in a one-piece female mold bearing the scroll-like pattern by a ribbed male plunger conforming in shape to the exterior that formed the hollow ribbed base, the undersurface of the four feet, and the scrolls between the feet. Rough pontil mark in center of underside of base. Brass collar appears to be partly stamped and partly machined and is original to the lamp.
