DescriptionSapphire-blue glass. Pressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the pattern, with a base plate patterned by a sixteen-pointed star, with a cap ring that formed the plain side and top of rim, by a plain male plunger. The mold seams extend from the underside of the edge of the base to the underside of the plain rim, one through the center of the handle, the other two vertically through the pattern without deviation. Rim fire-polished. Rough pontil mark.
