DescriptionDeep amethyst glass. Body and sides of foot pressed upright in a female mold of four vertical sections, with a base plate bearing a twelve-pointed star that formed the underside of the base, with a cap ring that formed the rim, by a plain male plunger. Four mold seams rise vertically from the lower edge of the foot to the rim, one on each side of the spout, the other two on each side of the handle. Applied and tooled solid handle crimped at lower end. Rim fire-polished. Rough pontil mark.
