DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of three vertical sections bearing the Mitre Diamond pattern, with a base plate that formed the plain underside of the foot, with a cap ring that formed the exterior side and top of the rim, by a plain male plunger. The moldmarks extend across the top of the foot, then rise vertically along the contour of the diamond stem and then vertically along the sides of the panels above the stem, continuing through the plain lower section of the bowl up through the points of the diamonds to the underside of the rim. Rim fire-polished; foot, stem, and base of bowl heavily fire-polished, almost obliterating the moldmarks on the foot. Rough pontil mark.
