DescriptionPressed upright in a female mold of four vertical sections, with a plain base plate with a shallow dome that formed the underside of the foot, by a plain male plunger, with a cap ring that formed the rim and the area between it and the tops of the arches. The mold seams extend vertically from the lower edge of the foot along the seams of the flutes to the juncture of the arches. Rim fire-polished. Underside and outer edge of the foot ground and semipolished. No pontil mark.
