DescriptionBowl: pressed upright in a female mold of two vertical sections bearing the Huber pattern, with a base plate that formed the lower edge and domed underside of the foot, by a plain male plunger. Rim fire-polished. No pontil mark. Cover: pressed upside down in a one-piece female mold, in conjunction with a female mold of two vertical sections that formed the finial, by a plain male plunger that formed the interior and rim. No pontil mark. No apparent fire-polishing. Bowl and cover engraved, probably with a stone wheel, with bands of stylized floral and grape motifs.
