DescriptionLibbey no. 625 handled decanter. Body blown in a mold. Applied handle. Applied foot. No pontil mark. Body cut from top to bottom with five plain flutes and three partial flutes under handle. All areas except around handle engraved in the rock-crystal style, primarily with stone wheels with details engraved with copper wheels, with a stylized pattern of orchids. Exterior of handle panel cut and engraved with a flower on the thumbpiece and a stylized leaf spray below. Top of foot engraved with a stylized wreath; underside of foot ground and polished. Interior of mouth ground and polished for stopper.
