DescriptionOpaque pale green (5 G 7/2).
Round wad on base ca. 7.0 cm in diameter.
Rim rounded but not thickened in flame. Hemispherical sides with concave junction to base ring. Pushed-in base with low kick in center and hollow tubular base ring. Medium thin bubbly glass; many bubbles burst at the surface.
CLASSIFICATION: Isings 1957, Form 42 (imitation?).
REMARKS The sloppy blowing and bubbly fabric suggest a ÒfakeÓ to me, imitating fine quality luxury wares of the end of the 1st B.C. - mid 1st cent. A.D. An imitatioin of Isings' form 42.
