DescriptionThin glass. Blowing spirals. Fabric cannot be determined because of weathering.
Transparent decolorized glass with pale yellowish green tinge (10 GY 7/2). Translucent moderate green handles and coil (near 5 BG 4/6).
Free-blown. Pontil mark ca. 1.2 cm in diameter. Added thread. Excess glass at tips of handles drawn out thin against tops of handles.
Rim rounded in flame. Tall concave neck with interrupted curve. Concave shoulder. Pointed bulbous body with greatest diameter at shoulder. Pushed-in base. Two angular coil handles applied to shoulder and attached to rim where they are folded inward and upward.
Rim coil applied from left to right. On body, eight tall narrow indentations from shoulder to base.
CLASSIFICATION: Jar Class IV C 3 b.
