DescriptionMedium thick glass. A few small bubbles. Light manganese translucent glass. Flaring cylindrical shape with rounded base and wide funnel-shaped neck with annular collar at top. Rows of double parallel lines around body cut with wheel. Transparent streaked manganese-colored. Batch not fused well. Manganese and natural green spirals from top right to bottom left. Free-blown. Circular scar on base ca. 1.1 cm. Cutout collar below rim. Wheel-cut incisions. Collar rim, rounded in flame. Flaring neck with slightly convex walls and constriction at its base. Sloping shoulder with slight bulge. Cylindrical body with sides tapering to base. Small round base. Vessel does not stand. On body, five bands of horizontal wheel-cut incisions, the top two consisting of three incisions each, the middle two of two incisions each, and the bottom of one single incision. CLASSIFICATION: Isings 1957, Form 102 (variation).
