DescriptionThis shallow bowl on a base ring is made from medium thin transparent natural pale green glass (5 G 7/2). The glass shows blowing spirals, and its fabric cannot be determined because of weathering. The vessel was free-blown with a pontil mark approximately 1.5 cm in diameter. The hollow tubular rim is folded outward, downward, and inward. The sides are hemispherical. The base is high and pushed in with flaring sides and a hollow tubular base ring; the dome in the base was blown downward.
