DescriptionThis jug, made of pale green glass, dates from the 3rd to 5th century CE. It has an oval body with a sloped shoulder and tall neck. The wide mouth is finished with a folded rim, and the curved handle is attached to both the shoulder and rim. The base is deeply concave with a small circular mark where it was detached from the glassblower’s tool.
