BiographyWell known in the visual arts scene in his native Cuba, Donis Dayán Llago received his artistic training in Havana at the Art Instructors’ School and the San Alejandro National Academy of Fine Arts. Since the early 2000s, his work has been featured in numerous group exhibitions throughout Havana, and recent years have seen the artist featured in three solo shows in the city. His first solo show was at the Center for the Development in Visual Art in Havana in 2012. In 2015 he had a solo show, ‘Transparencias’, at the Galiano Gallery and in the same year also had a solo presentation as part of the Havana Biennial.
