DescriptionThis rim fragment from a flat cameo glass plaque shows a decorative egg-and-dart border and a partial scene of a triumphal crowning. The white and light blue design features the torso of a male figure in military dress, clean-shaven, with short hair and a laurel wreath. At right, a raised hand holds a wreath, likely representing a Victory figure in the act of crowning. To the left is part of a round shield with incised decoration.
