Label TextThis blue faience ring was excavated in 1923–1924 by the Egypt Exploration Society at Amarna, the capital city of Pharaoh Akhenaten. Rings of this kind were among the small personal items recovered from residential areas during the EES’s excavations. It was assigned to the Toledo Museum of Art through the official division of finds following the season’s conclusion.
