Label TextThis bezel from a signet ring, found in Amarna, is inscribed with the prenomen of Smenkhkare—Ankhkheprure—alongside the epithet “Beloved of Waenre,” referring to Akhenaten. Smenkhkare was a short-lived pharaoh, possibly co-regent or successor to Akhenaten, during the Amarna period.
