DescriptionThis is a flat fragment from a cameo glass plaque, with a relief image carved in opaque light blue over a translucent cobalt blue background. The scene shows a winged figure, likely Victory, in a chariot drawn by two rearing horses. The figure wears flowing garments and holds a long rod, possibly tipped with a torch. The chariot moves to the right. The glass is broken and repaired, with chipped edges and pitting on the surface.
