DescriptionFragment of a cameo glass plaque. The design, cut in opaque light blue glass on a translucent greenish ground, shows the lower half of a pudgy nude male figure straddling a stylized marine creature, likely a dolphin. The dolphin is depicted swimming to the right, with an arched dorsal fin, drilled eye, upturned beak, and smiling mouth. The edges of the fragment have been resmoothed. The surface is pitted on the front.
