DescriptionStonepaste, opaque white glaze, polychrome in-glaze and overglaze painting (Mina’i ware). A bulbous, double spouted pot with handles in the shape of tigers. Decorated in haft rang, seven-color polychrome technique. Originally fitted with a lid, now missing. On the shoulder, camel riders hunting and playing music, stylized Kufic bands above and below. Around the base, harpies alternating with arabesques.
