DescriptionA knife sheath of slightly curving form, faced with a quill-wrapped splint, interwoven with contrasting quills in red and white, to form two large ‘X’ motifs, trimmed with opaque, white glass beadwork and tin cones inserted with red-dyed deer fur; the sheath carrying strap is decorated with red, white, blue and green-dyed porcupine quill wraps around braided linen yarn.
